At
the time, my wife, Angie, was a nanny for a chiropractor. He
offered to take care of our family as a benefit for working for
him. I told him I didn’t need a chiropractor. I didn’t have
low back pain, neck pain, or anything else I thought
chiropractors helped. I told him I had headaches once in awhile
but it was just the ‘normal amount’. He explained to me that
the normal amount is none! I thought he was crazy but I decided
to give him a try... When I went to his
office, he did an exam, took some films, and then ‘adjusts’ my
spine. The adjustment didn’t hurt, it actually felt
good. I got relief from tension in my neck and headaches, and
also notice that I slept better and got sick less often!
It worked so well for me, and I was so impressed with the other
‘miracles’ I saw in his office, that I eventually went to
chiropractic school myself.
I decided to go to Palmer College of
Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. I absolutely loved the
school and the time I spent there. I graduated in 2003
Magna cum Laude and was a presidential scholar. I even had
the opportunity to travel to the Amazon city of Manaus, Brazil
where I was able to treat people there when they were in need of
chiropractic care. As far as my
free time... I am happily married and have 3 children who
keep me quite busy! I help coach my daughter's soccer team
with Colorado Storm and my son's team with Real Colorado.
I also volunteer as a Junior High leader at Mission Hills
Church. I also try to stay fit by exercising regularly and
playing sports such as soccer and golf. |
